There are many other non profit organizations who have contributed an immeasurable amount of time and money to their causes. Many of these dedicated groups make their money through the sale of maps and guide books. For that reason, we do not always go into great detail describing all of these trails, but will point readers in the direction of guides and maps for purchase. Organizations like the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference (www.nynjtc.org) publish superior guide books and maps, and the money collected for these resources help to built and maintain more trails. They deserve the utmost respect, and therefore your patronage as well.
